Argentina beat the All Blacks for the first time in New Zealand to take the lead in the Rugby Championship.
Winger Emiliano Boffelli scored 20 points as the Pumas won 25-18 in Christchurch to pile the pressure on All Blacks coach Ian Foster.
The Pumas beat the All Blacks in another Rugby Championship game two years ago in Sydney.
Earlier, flanker Fraser McReight scored two tries to help Australia beat world champions South Africa 25-17.
In Christchurch, tries from Samisoni Taukei’aho and Caleb Clarke gave the All Blacks an early 15-6 lead before Richie Mo’unga’s second penalty extended their lead at the break to 15-12.
But Boffelli’s boot kept the Pumas in the game and flanker Juan Martin Gonzalez scored an opportunistic second-half try.
New Zealand’s indiscipline throughout the game cost them dearly and they played the final nine minutes with 14 men after Shannon Frizell was yellow carded as they suffered their sixth loss in their last eight training games.
The win gives Argentina back-to-back wins at the Rugby Championship for the first time since they were beaten 48-17 by Australia two weeks ago.
“I’m very proud of our team – we’re starting to believe in what we can do,” said captain Julian Montoya. “I am very happy, very proud. It’s a very special occasion for us.”
In Adelaide, after slow starts in their first two championship games, the Wallabies were on top against the Springboks from the start, with McReight striking in the opening minute.
Noah Lolesio converted and added a penalty, and Handre Pollard missed two tackles before South Africa played on.
Tom White was yellow carded after half an hour but the defense stood firm with both McReight and Marika Koroibete making try-winning saves.
South Africa started the second half with 14 men after Faf de Klerk was sin-binned a minute before the break and the Wallabies took advantage as Koroibete finished a slick move before McReight dived over for his second try.
Kwagga Smith replied with two tries for the Springboks in the final five minutes but Australia continued their nine-year unbeaten run on home soil against the world champions.
“We started the game well and that put us in a good position,” Australia captain James Slipper said. “There were parts of that game where we had to show a lot of character, and we did.”
Also in Adelaide, New Zealand Women ran out 22-14 winners against Australia as both sides continued their Women’s World Cup preparations.
