Adele Laurie Blue Adkins was born 5 May 1988), known mononymously as Adele, is an English singer and songwriter. Her mother’s name is Penny Adkins and father’s name is Mark Evans.
Adele’s mother fell pregnant with her at the young age of 18, and her parents separated when she was nine months old. The Sun reports Adele as saying: “She fell pregnant with me when she would have been applying for uni, but chose to have me instead. She never, ever reminds me of that. I will try to remember it.”
Her father moved from London to South Wales, drank heavily and was so taken up with his own needs he failed to contribute to her upbringing emotionally and financially. Not surprisingly he and Adele have not been close. Adele has said: “I didn’t know what a dad was supposed to do because I never had one.”
Adele’s second UK Number 1, Hello ushered her back into dominance after a few years away with a moody music video to match.
Adele walked down the aisle for the first time in 2016, when she married Simon Konecki – with whom she shares eight-year-old son Angelo – but the pair eventually called time on their romance in the midst of the singer writing of her latest LP, 30.
Adele and Simon Konecki first met in 2011 and divorced in 2019. Adele is famously the queen of heartbreak ballads — and her 2021 album, 30, offered up a slew of new tearjerkers as it chronicled her 2019 divorce from ex-husband Simon Konecki.
Adele was seen wearing a huge diamond ring on her wedding finger at her latest Las Vegas show over the weekend, which has further spurred on the speculation.
While there is no official confirmation by either of them, media reports have stated that English singer and songwriter, Adele is engaged to boyfriend Rich Paul. Moreover, the 34-year-old star and her 41-year-old sports agent beau are planning a wedding in the summer this year.
